St. Louis' own Alive magazine has just hit the shelves with the May 2013 issue.  Flip to page 28 and you'll find an article about the International Institute's Global Farms Initiative.  The article highlights the impact the initiative has on its farmers, who are members of the St. Louis refugee community.  Also mentioned in the article is the partnership the Global Farms Initiative has with your very own City Greens!

Radical Radishes

Spring is in the air - and in the market!  Our farmers have been busy growing lots of fresh foods for us at City Greens.  Today we have spinach, green onions, leaf lettuce, carrots, and radishes, (seen here!) straight from the farm.  We are on our way to reaching our goal of $30,000 to get the market out of the basement.  We are still working on the climb, though, but are approaching the $10,000 mark, thanks to your generosity!  Help us reach our goal by visiting our Go Fund Me site - every little bit counts!

We are back and open for business and have brought the sunshine with us!  We are open today from 10-5 at 1202 S Boyle, so come on by for a great selection.  Today we have in store:
