Happy Thanksgiving, City Greeners!

During this time of "Thanks," let us take a moment to thank all of you for your loyalty to our market. I trust that as we all look around our table this year, City Greens will be well represented on the kitchen table. Thanks to all of our vendors and farmers; especially Dry Dock Farms for a season filled with wonderful produce.

We will be CLOSED on the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 23rd) and will reopen the following Friday (Friday, November 30th).

Sorry to bug everyone with another email and blog post, but here's your friendly reminder that City Greens is CLOSED today and will be OPEN- tomorrow from 10AM until 5 PM!

Thanks to you all for your loyal support of City Greens Market, where we make healthy food available for everybody; and it's affordable.

City Greens Market Winter Hours

Good Morning, City Greeners!

I want to take a moment to clarify any confusion about our hours for the upcoming weeks.

This week, our schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, October 31st: City Greens is open for our REGULAR Mobile Market Schedule (8:30-10:30- Casa de Salud... 11-1- Thurman / Shenandoah... 1:30-3:30- 39th / Russell)

Thursday, November 1st: City Greens is CLOSED

Friday, November 2nd: City Greens is OPEN from 10:00 - 5:00.

For the rest of the fall and winter, City Greens will remain open only on FRIDAYS from 10-5.


We'll be sending this reminder out throughout the week- sorry for the inconvenience!

Another great harvest this week... and although we did enjoy a record setting day yesterday at the market, there's still a wonderful selection for everybody to enjoy TODAY!!!

The meat freezer is well stocked, and the fall colors are shining brightly in our selection of fresh veggies as well. So if you have time today, come on in and support our community, farmers, and market as we try to sell out of all our produce!!

Also, a note that we will be closing at 4 PM today due to St. Cronan's Church. 

REMINDER: Starting in the first week of November, the market will be open from 10 until 5 every FRIDAY ALL WINTER LONG!

A GREAT fall harvest this week!

Hi City Greeners, Happy Friday to you all!

If you are considering a trip out on this lovely rainy day, then I would sincerely suggest a trip into the market. Our farmers are providing abundant fall harvests, and this week is especially wonderful.

Here's an example of what you can expect if you make the trip in:

And a good morning it is indeed here at the market... Today we'll have a similar variety of vegetables that we've been having, along with a great selection of summer fruits to choose from. This will include CANTALOUPE, GRANNY SMITH APPLES, GALA APPLES, and HONEYDEW MELON!!!

We will be closed this Friday, August 31st. So if at all possible, please come see us either Wednesday or Thursday.

On Wednesday, here is our Mobile Market schedule:

8:30-10:30- Casa de Salud (Chouteau and Compton)

11:00-1:00- Thurman/ Shenandoah

1:30-3:30- 39th Russell

On Thursday, we will be at our normal 1202 S. Boyle location from 11-5:30.
